Merge PDF — frequently asked questions

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

There is no fixed limit on the number of files — merge as many as you need, as long as each file is under 50MB. Very large combinations are limited only by your device's memory.

Does merging upload my files to a server?

No. Merging runs completely inside your browser. Your PDFs never leave your device, which makes this tool safe for contracts, medical records, and other sensitive documents.

Will the merged PDF keep the original quality?

Yes. Pages are copied into the combined document without re-encoding, so text, images, and formatting stay exactly as they were.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Yes. You'll be asked for the password when an encrypted file is detected. The password is used only for the merge and never stored.
