How to edit a PDF
Upload your PDF
Add the PDF you want to change. It opens in a document editor with page thumbnails and a full toolbar.
Edit the document
Use Select to edit existing PDF text or drag items you added. Or add text, images, signatures, highlights, shapes, draw, notes, and whiteout. Reorder, rotate, or delete pages as needed.
Apply and download
Click Apply edits — changes are applied on our server and delivered on a private result link.
Edit PDF — frequently asked questions
Can I edit the existing text of a PDF?
Yes. Choose Select, click a blue dashed text box on the page, change or clear it, then Apply edits. Clearing the box deletes that text. Scanned image-only PDFs may not expose selectable text — use Add text instead. Items you add yourself can be dragged with Select.
Are my edits applied in the browser or on a server?
You build the edits visually in your browser, and nothing is uploaded until you click Apply. Then the PDF and your edit list are sent to our server, applied, and returned on a private link that auto-deletes within 2 hours.
Can I undo a change?
Yes. Use Undo and Redo for recent edits, restore deleted pages before applying, and nothing is final until you click Apply edits. Your original file on your device is never modified.
Will the edited PDF work in other readers?
Yes. The output is a standard PDF — page changes and annotations are saved into the file itself and display in Adobe Reader, browsers, and mobile viewers.
